Donald Romeo Leonard
Donald Romeo Leonard, 71, of Fannett, died Thursday, March 5, 2026. He was born on November 22, 1954, in Orange to Maria Clavier and George Leonard.
Donald served four years in the United States Army in the early 70s. He later began working in oil fields and joined Pipifitters Local 195 in 1977. He had a forty-one-year career and retired in 2018.
He loved riding motor bikes and would take his trike out often. He loved repairing things: computers, motor, woodworking, and cars. He loved his yard work, cutting grass and planting trees.
He loved his best bud, Brantly.
Survivors include his wife, Anita Leonard; children, George R. Leonard and his wife, Paula Rodriguez, of Beaumont, and Benjamin Jacob Leonard of Fannett; grandson, Brantly Floyd Leonard; and sisters, Patty Uptigrove and Tina Hall.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Miranda Maria Leonard.

A graveside service for Mr. Leonard will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 9, 2026, at Haven of Rest, 13851 US Highway 90, Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
