Donald W. Horton

Donald W. Horton, 61, of Beaumont, died Sunday, August 29, 2021, at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont. He was born March 4, 1960, in Delano, California, to Dorothy Louviere Horton and Donald Horton.

Donald was a United States Army veteran having served from 1978 until 1982. He enjoyed playing guitar and riding his motorcycle. Donald was known for his wonderful cooking and was quite the storyteller. Above all else, Donald loved his family.

Survivors include his wife, Anne Horton, of Beaumont; son, Jason Horton and wife, Amelia, of Monticello, Arkansas; daughter, Amanda Celino, of Little Rock, Arkansas; stepsons, Robert Henry and wife, Tracy, of Nederland; Jeff Henry and wife, Sherry, of Moss Point, Mississippi; and Norman Henry, Jr., of Baycliff; eight grandchildren; and siblings, Melissa Armas and husband, Brandon, of Porterville, California; Darla Oakley, of Exeten, California; and Dennis Horton and wife, Barbara, of LaComb, Mississippi.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Donald Horton.

A gathering of Mr. Horton’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12^th Street, Nederland. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
