Donna Jean Hamilton

Donna Jean Hamilton, 68, of Laurel Hill, Florida, died Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Ochsner Medical Center, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was born on September 16, 1953, to Irene Mary Davidge Blanchette and Frank Robert Blanchette, in Beaumont. Donna enjoyed quilting and making quilts for her family. She loved her cats and traveling with her husband for work and always had smile on her face.

Survivors include her husband, Kirk Hamilton; son, Jason Hamilton; siblings, Frank Blanchette and his wife, Doris; Joanne Dequeant; and Fay Marie Willis and her husband, Raymond; nieces and nephews, Renee Blanchette, Paul Blanchette, Carol Blanchette, Katherine Williams, Jaime Coleman, David Short, Dewayne Short, Jay Dequeant and Charlie Dequeant.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Robert Blanchette, Albert Blanchette, and Donald Blanchette; and niece, Lori Blanchette.

Her cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
