Donna Jo York
Donna Jo York, 56, of Fannett, died Friday, December 23, 2022. She was born on February 18, 1966, in Nederland, to Violet Ann Knoblock and William P. Dillon.
In her younger days, Donna enjoyed fishing. Her family was very important to her, and she loved playing with her dogs. Donna enjoyed watching the cooking network and trying out new recipes she saw for her family.
She is survived by her husband, Jamie York of Fannett; son, Jacob York, of Fannett; sister, Denise Sponsler and her husband, Clifford, of Nederland; and numerous extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers.
A gathering of Mrs. York’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Broussard’s, 505 N. 12th Street, Nederland. Her cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
