Dora Sanchez

Dora Sanchez, 73, of Nederland, died Friday, October 1, 2021. She was born May 2, 1948, in Brownsville, to Maria Louisa Guerrero Sanchez and Lorenzo Sanchez.

Dora was a lab tech for Texas State Optical for many years. After retirement she joyously spent most of her time helping to take care of her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Bobby Blankenship, Jr. and wife, Christina, of Beaumont and Emilia Blankenship and husband, Javier Deleon, of Nederland; grandchildren, Dora; Nikki; Mia; Gabriella; Naomi; Diana; Bobby III; and Jennifer; and siblings, Hector; Henry; Tony; Frankie; Marsolino; Rich; Jesus; Virginia; Alice; Maria; Loli; and Socorro.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jennifer Louisa Wilson; and brother, Emilio Sanchez.

Cremation arrangements for Ms. Sanchez will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12^th Street, Nederland.
