Doris Jeffcoat

Doris Jeffcoat, 95, of Columbia, Louisiana and formerly of Silsbee, died Wednesday, February 26, 2020.  She was born on May 13, 1924, in Silsbee, to Ada Eason Gore and William “WK” Gore. 

Survivors include her grandchild, Paige Thompson of Silsbee; nieces and nephews, Melanie Gore Hatten; Shyann Winstead and her husband, Dustin; and Brynlee Winstead, all of Columbia, Louisiana; Kyle Gore and his wife, Johnnie, of Silsbee; Marshall Dwight Gore, Jr. and his wife, Pam and Andrew Gore, all of Lumberton; Adam Jeffcoat and his wife, Amanda and Valirie Starnes and her husband, Michael, all of Silsbee; Kyle Wade Gore of Warren; Kenleigh Comeaux of Lumberton; Kimberly Gore of Silsbee; and Robert Bush of Oklahoma; and a host of other nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bronson “Bunk” Jeffcoat; son, Craig Jeffcoat; brothers, Vernon Gore and Marshall Gore; and sisters, Lorraine Paine, Eloise Bean, and Maxine Gilmore.

A gathering of Mrs. Jeffcoat’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 1, 2020, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her interment will follow at Cunningham Cemetery, Silsbee.
