Dorothy Jean Grimble

Dorothy Jean Grimble, 76 of Beaumont, Texas, died Saturday, July 19,2025. She was born on May 30,1949 in Dallas Texas to Vernice Simon and Theodore Simon.

Survivors include MacArthur Bibby of Bastrop, Louisiana; sister, Ruby Davis Bulling and her husband, Micheal Bulling, of Carrollton, Texas;  daughter, Katrina Grimble of Monroe, Louisiana; son, Milton Grimble of Carrollton Texas; granddaughter, ShaQuila Grimble and her husband, Leroy Douglas, of Beaumont Texas; grandsons, Jo’Vonta Grimble of Austin Texas, DiOndre Huntsberry of California, DeXavier Grimble of San Antonio, John Grimble of Killeen Texas; granddaughter, Ja’Myri Jones of Videlia, Louisiana; and great-grandchildren, Erin Grimble, Darrien Johnson, Jr., AZyria Grimble, Leroy Grimble, and Zion Grimble.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Vernice Simon; brothers, Theodore Simon, Jr., Clark Ervin Simon, and Norris Gean Hawley; sister, Phyllis Davis; and her husband, Milton Grimble.

A memorial service for Mrs. Grimble will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Cathedral of Praise Miracle Center, 2580 East Lucas Drive, Beaumont. Her cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
