We would like for her to be remembered as a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
The family would like to thank everyone for helping us to honor the life of Dorothy and to celebrate her going home to her Savior.

Reggie I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I think of you often and all our joyful years together in church and your piano playing. My sympathy is extended to you and Christy. Sister Vernice Grantham
Reggie and family you have my sympathy and prayers for your sweet Mom. She and our mother, Emma King, worked together at the phone company and were in the hospital at the same time giving birth to Reggie and me. May she rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus.
Thank you so much Phyllis for remembering our Mother. I remember your family and did not know your Mom and ours worked together.
That is amazing that our Moms were in the hospital at the same time with you and Reggie.
Thank you so much for sharing this and for your words of comfort.

My dearest Aunt oh, I will miss you because I remember our relationship for so many years as I grew up. how could I have ever done it without you? Thank you, I’ll see you and mama and daddy, in heaven, God willing.
Thank you Anne. Mother loved you very much and always enjoyed talking about the early days.
The times spent with you and all of her family were very special to her.

We were saddened to hear about the passing of Dorothy. Her and Bruce were faithful members of the Methodist Church in Wildwood for many years. Our journey of faith with them was filled with many good memories. They were active members of our Church family and were greatly missed when they moved from Wildwood, by our Church family and the community. We know it was a tearful reunion when she and Bruce were reunited together again. Our sincere condolences to her family. We know she will be missed by all that knew her. Ricky and Lanette Tate.
Thank you so much Ricky and Lanette. Mother and Daddy enjoyed being members of the church and being involved in all of the fellowship. So nice of you to remember them and to send this message. It is very comforting to hear how much they were thought of.
