Dr. Robert Franklin Pickard, Sr.
Dr. Robert Franklin Pickard, Sr., 97, of Groves, died Monday, October 21, 2024. He was born December 22, 1926, in Port Arthur, to Madaline Murphy Pickard and Porter Louis Pickard.
He loved to watch football and was an avid golfer. Above all else, he loved his grandchildren.
Survivors include his sons, Dr. Robert Pickard, Jr. and wife, Lucy; Michael Pickard and wife, Kelly; and Dr. William Pickard and wife, Carmen; and grandchildren, Dr. Lance Pickard; Dr. Brenna Pickard and husband, Dr. Chris Dingess; Dr. Will Pickard and wife, Dr. Erin; Angela Kuhn and husband, Zachary; and Katie Bond and husband, Jordan; and niece, Sissy Stewart.
Dr. Pickard’s cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
