Eddie Doggett
Eddie “Roe” Doggett, 84, of Silsbee, died Saturday, May 27, 2023. She was born on May 10, 1939, in Silsbee, to Irene Jenkins Gore and Raven Gore.
Eddie worked at the Hardin County Courthouse for forty-four years, with the last twelve years serving as Hardin County Treasurer.
Survivors include her daughter, Joni Day of Lumberton; granddaughters, Bridget Aldridge and her husband, Joshua and Abby Riley and her husband, Daniel, all of Lumberton; and great-grandchildren, Jemma Aldridge and Wacey Riley. She is preceded in death by her mother, Irene Gore and stepfather, Raven Gore, and her husband, Darrell Doggett.
Eddie’s graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Hardin Memorial Park, Silsbee, under the direction of Broussard’s, Silsbee.

I have known Eddie since 1983 and found her to be a fine lady with a great smile. She was always eager to talk politics about her beloved Hardin County. Rest in peace.
I love this pic of Eddie with her hat on. She called me few months ago and asked me to call Joni but I did not have her number. I felt then Eddie was not well. I love how she did her best to keep our Jenkins family in touch. Will miss her and I know she is with her sweet Darrell now. Condolences to Joni and her family.

I am so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. I know how your heart is hurting today and will for a long time. Hold your memories of her close and they will comfort you. Mama loved her so much.
