Eddie Roberts

Eddie Marvin Roberts, 85, of Fannett, died Sunday, August 21, 2022. He was born September 4, 1936, in Beaumont, to Marjorie Bodin Roberts and Marvin Edward Roberts, Sr.

Eddie retired from Beaumont ISD as a welder after many years of service. He loved joking with people and had a quirky sense of humor. He also loved hunting, fishing, and watching westerns. Eddie will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and pawpaw.

Survivors include his daughter, Julie Roberts of Fannett; granddaughter, Grace Bourque of Stephenville; and sister, Theresa Grissom and husband, Bobby, of Youngsville, Louisiana.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of fifty-six years, Teddi Roberts; daughter, Michelle Joy Roberts; and sister, Ruth Voohries.

Cremation arrangements for Mr. Roberts will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.
