Edward Wilbur Burdick

Edward Wilbur Burdick, 80, of Sour Lake, died Monday, December 16, 2024. He was born on March 13, 1944, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Catherine Falter and Lyle Burdick. Edward was United States Army National Guard veteran. He resided in Oak Creek, Wisconsin for most of his life, until moving to Sour Lake two years ago to be closer to family. Edward loved camping with his wife and visiting Lake Michigan.

Survivors include his niece, Michele Chaisson, her husband, Chris, and their children, and brother-in-law, Mike Hargis and his wife, Brenda.

Edward is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Joan Marie Burdick; and sister, Margaret “Marge” Hargis.

Mr. Burdick will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin, Wisconsin. His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
