Elaine Crysel Guillory
Elaine Crysel Guillory, 78, went to be with our Lord January 2, 2023, at home surrounded by her family four days after the loss of her husband. Elaine was born January 9, 1944, to Bill and Doris Crysel in Luverne, Alabama. She grew up in Beaumont and graduated from Beaumont High in 1962.
Elaine married the “Love of her life” Bill Guillory in 1965 and resided in Beaumont, where Elaine was a homemaker. They moved to “The Woods” in Fannett in 1992, where she enjoyed building fires planting flowers and watching all the animals and birds. Elaine loved going to the beach and hunting for seashells
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband of 57 years, William “Bill” Guillory.
Elaine is survived by her daughter, Dana DeLaCruz and son-in-law, Mark DeLaCruz; grandchildren, Andrea DeLaCruz of Fannett, Amanda DeLaCruz of Austin, William DeLaCruz and wife, Kelby DeLaCruz, of Fannett; great-grandchildren, Trystan and Raelyn DeLaCruz; and sisters, Linda Ewart of Vidor and Glinda Goodman of Ivanhoe.
There will be no public services. Respects can made by signing her book at Broussard’s on Major Drive. Her cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

Dana, I hope you get to read this. I loved your Mom and Dad. They were so close and loved you very much. It has been years since I saw either of them, but they remain in my heart. It is very hard to lose one parent, but my heart goes out to you with the loss of both of them. (I was the General Manager of Howard Johnson”s, where they washed the windows as a side job). Sending love and hugs of comfort!

James and I share so many wonderful memories of Bill and Elaine. Her wonderful Laugh was contagious, and his stories were always fun.. your family ” as always” are in our prayers.

So sad to see the post this morning regarding Elaine’s passing. Grew up through school together and she was a wonderful person. My heart goes to the family with prayers. Elaine is at peace w/her husband.
