Elizabeth Cox, 85, of LaBelle, died Tuesday, March 9, 2021. She was born on April 25, 1935, in Coushatta, Louisiana, to Orie Davis Sessions and William Arthur Sessions, Sr.

Survivors include her sons, Gene Cox and his wife, Denise, of Silsbee and Eddie Cox and his wife, Pam, of LaBelle; grandchildren, Jennifer Siragusa and her wife, Stacey; Angel Kelley and her husband, Brian; Randy Cox and his wife, Amanda; Stephanie Martin and her husband, Josh; Josh Cox and his wife, Gloria; and John Willie Cox; great-grandchildren, Madison; Zayne; Trinity; Warren; Cloey; Emily; Riley; Audrey; Abbie; Colbie; Lane Arthur; and Agustina Mercedes; numerous nieces and nephews; and the Elliott family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lane Cox; parents; five brothers; and three sisters.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Hospice Plus for the excellent care provided to their “Nana”; also, to Paul and Joyce Lopez for the loving care she received from them.

A gathering of Mrs. Cox’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with her funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 13, 2021, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
