Elizabeth “LuLu” Epperson

September 29, 1950 - February 24, 2022

Elizabeth “LuLu” Epperson, 71, of Lumberton, died Thursday, February 24, 2022. She was born on September 29, 1950, in Lynchburg, Virginia, to Ruth “Dinah” Wooldrige and Clarence Campbell. Elizabeth retired as Postmaster for the United States Postal Service. She was an avid audio book listener.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Daniels and her husband, Mark, of Crosby; grandchildren, Jennifer LaValley and her husband, Brandon, of Lumberton; and Cynthia Daniels of Crosby; and great-grandchild, Alexander LaValley.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and her siblings.

Cremation arrangements for Mrs. Epperson were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.

    Elizabeth was always ready to greet everyone with a quip or dig or some kind. Each was said with a smile on her face. She brightened my day getting the mail at Wildwood. A lovely lady.
