Lanisa and I are saddened to hear of the passing of Betsy. We appreciated that Gene and Betsy rented our beach house for their family to enjoy and make lasting memories. Your family will always hold a special place in our heart. You will be in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I have the best memories growing up across the street from Renee, and her parents. Betsy and Gene, and Steve. Betsy drove me to and from elementary school at Eugene Field for years. Betsy and Gene taught me how to water ski, and would let me tag along on their boat regularly. We had a great neighborhood and really fun times. Betsy would play her favorite country and Elvis songs on her car radio while she hauled Renee and I all over the place. So many great memories. I loved her. She was like a 2nd mom. May God bless and comfort Gene and her family.
