Ellen Belinda Barber

Ellen Belinda Barber, 72, of Winnie, died Tuesday, September 17, 2024. She was born December 27, 1951, in Charleston, South Carolina, to Delores and Howard Barber.

Survivors include her loving husband, Johnny Manuel; stepson, Michael Manuel, and his wife, Mandy; daughter, Deidre Escareno, and her husband Neil; grandchildren, Ellen Treadway, and her husband, Phillip, Ashley Lyons, and her husband, Timothy, Neil Escareno, Jr., and his wife, Amanda, Elias Escareno, and his wife, Cheyenne, Elisha Escareno, Denver Manuel, Maverick Manuel, Ryder Manuel; great grandchildren, Keira Escareno, Elias Escareno, Jr., Neil Escareno III, Adeline Lyons; and brother Benny Barber.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering of Ms. Barber’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Her cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
