Ellen Maudine Eason
Ellen Maudine Eason, 56, of Silsbee, died August 9, 2025. She was born on June 9, 1969, in Kountze, to Marry Ellen Denmon Swinney and Lloyd Elmore Swinney.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Eason, Sr.; Children, Billy Ray Eason, Jr. and his wife, Tiffany; Brandon Lloyd Eason and his fiancée, Brienna Bland; and Joshua Lynn Eason, all of Silsbee; grandchildren, Zera Walles, Gabriel Eason, Jerry Eason, Mellany Eason, Lucas Eason, and Christopher Eason; mother, Mary Ellen Swinney of Silsbee; half-brother, Philip Hooks and his wife, Patty, of Fred; and half-sister, Reba Callaway and her husband, Bobby, of Silsbee.
She is preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Elmore Swinney; brother, Dwayne Hooks; and sister, Joyce Lea.
A gathering of Mrs. Eason’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.

I remember Maudine when she dated my brother John in school. She was always such a sweet lady. She will be missed. Prayers for her entire family.
