Ethel Addie Touchet Lenz
Ethel Lynn (Addie Touchet) Lenz, 76, of Winnie, passed away in Magnolia, Texas in hospice care on Friday, May 18, 2018 surrounded by loved ones. Born October 29, 1941 in Gueydan, Louisiana, she was the daughter of Edna and Nolan Touchet. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Jerry M. Lenz, in May 2012.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Shauna Giblin and her husband Kevin; two grandchildren, Jeremy (Boog Boog) and Jordan (Tootie) Giblin, all of Magnolia; sister, Shirley Touchet Long, and brother-in-law, Jerry Long, both of Winnie. Along with numerous nieces, nephews and longtime friends.
Addie truly loved cooking and baking, cajun cooking to be exact, she also loved her garden, flowers, fishing, Joe’s Crab Shack, gemstones, bingo, poker and slot machines. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren, Jeremy and Jordan. To say that Gran spoiled them rotten was an understatement.
Addie’s final wishes were to be cremated. A gathering of Addie’s family and friends, along with a Memorial Service, will be held in remembrance of Addie, on Saturday, June 9th, 2018, from 10:00am to 1:00pm at Broussard’s Mortuary, 134 West Buccaneer Dr., Winnie, Texas. Guests are encouraged to come and go as they please, there will be no specific service time.
