In 1968 the family moved to LaBelle, where she developed a love for gardening and canning. No one was allowed on her riding lawn mower, that was a job she loved. Lou was a Godly woman who was devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, enjoying time spent with family and traveling the states with her husband, family members and friends in their RV.
