Evelyn Tucker
Evelyn Smith Tucker, 98, of Port Arthur, died Sunday, January 15, 2023, at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont. She was born February 13, 1924, in Silsbee, to Vallie and Ben Smith.
Survivors include her sons, Walter Tucker, Jr. and wife, Dixie and Tommy Tucker and wife, Amanda; grandson, Casey Tucker and wife, Tami; great-grandchildren, Micayla Tucker; Hayden Tucker; Grayson Tucker; Billy Tucker; and Chrissey Tucker; and nieces and nephews, Debbie; Tommy; Barbara Elaine; Karen; and Judy.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Tucker, Sr.; parents; and brother, Elton Smith.
A gathering of Mrs. Tucker’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the nursing staff and medical team at Harbor Hospice.
