Frances Laverne Taylor
Frances Laverne Taylor, 93, of China, died Wednesday, November 13, 2024. She was born on August 21, 1931, in Daisetta, to Martha Elizabeth Collins Burwick and Jerry B. Burwick.
Survivors include her son, Rusty Taylor and his wife, Sharon, of China; grandchildren, Bridgette May and her husband, Jamie, of China; Kevin Smith and his wife, Jennifer, of Nacogdoches; Eric Taylor and his wife, Heather, of Lumberton; and Heather Edwards and her husband, Darron, of Sour Lake; great-grandchildren; Ella May, Taylor May, Rosalind Smith, Connor Smith, Brayedin Edwards, Wayde Edwards; Paislee Edwards; Lucas Edwards, and Baiyah Taylor; and grand-pup, Dolly.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bobby L. Taylor, Sr.; son, Bobby Taylor, Jr.; sisters, Feby Mae Knight; Lucille Hardin; Matilda “Stene” Broussard; and Earline Joiner; and brother, Jerry B. Burwick.
A gathering of Mrs. Taylor’s family and friends will be 11:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her interment will follow at R.S. Farmer Cemetery, Silsbee.
