Later in life, she took Communion to the home-bound and nursing homes, as well as volunteering.
In 1983 Francine married William Allen Stepp of Houston and lived at Toledo Bend in Hemphill until his death in 1993, at which time she returned to Beaumont briefly before moving to Crystal Beach, “her happy place”. After Hurricane Ike took her beach house in 2008, she settled in Friendswood where she attended Mary Queen Catholic Church and was very happy near family.

Thank you, kindly Richard for your thoughts and prayers for Me and my family🥰🙏🙏
My siblings and I loved those LeBlancs. And seeing Francine’s fabulous smile reminded me how often I saw her like that. Sweet Mary brings great memories also. I have a great memory of her and hair curlers! Much love and gratitude that I was fortunate to see them as their paths crossed with my older siblings. Rest in peace, dear Francine.
