G.W. Frazier

June 19, 1924 - June 23, 2019

G.W. Frazier, 95, of Kountze, died Sunday, June 23, 2019. He was born on June 19, 1924, in San Augustine, to Arie McCelland Frazier and Charlie T. Frazier. G.W. proudly served his country in the United States Army in the 305th Engineer Pantaloon during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Frazier; children, Linda Richardson and her husband, Carl, of Kountze; Gary Frazier and his wife, Jerri, of Silsbee; and Don Frazier and his wife, Rhodda, of Kountze; grandchildren, David Richardson and his wife, Beth; Karen Ford and her husband, Darrell; and Matt Frazier and his wife, Jennifer, all of Kountze; Don Frazier, Jr. and his wife, Lindsey, of Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana; Amanda Hatton and her husband, Michael, of Silsbee; and Katie Schmoker and her husband, Jason, of Sour Lake; twelve great-grandchildren; siblings, Virgil Frazier of Norman, Oklahoma; and Charles “Tack” Frazier of Silsbee; stepchildren, Billy Jack Stanley and his wife, Charmaine; Betty Ann Cheek and her husband, Wesley; and Kenneth Stanley and his wife, Kay, all of Silsbee; seven step-grandchildren; and thirteen step-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bonnie Frazier; great-grandson, Coy Richardson; and brother, Cleo Frazier.

A gathering of G.W.’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. His graveside service will be 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at Holland Cemetery, Kountze.
