One of the guys that always brightened the room when he was in it. Always had a story to tell...and usually ended in laughter. Bubba was a dedicated supporter of the Association of Texas Appraisers (ATA). I, along with the rest of the ATA, will truly miss Bubba. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Kathy and their entire family.

Bubba was a great friend to me for 50 years. We had many adventures together. He could always make me laugh. He was always there for me & me for him. My heart goes out to Kathy, Sallye, April & his wonderful grandchildren that he loved with all his heart. He was a man with the biggest heart of anyone I’ve ever known. God has him in his arms now & he’s no longer in pain. Save me a seat. I’ll see you again one day. Until then you’ll always have a piece of my heart to hold for me.

My breath is shortened by the loss of this wonderful guy. He always made me laugh, he always showed his geniune love of his wife, family, friends and his dogs. I see his smile, I see him when he had a point to make and stood firm, I hear him laugh, I feel the space he occupied in my heart. My deepest condolences Kathy to you and your family. He was and always will be a part of our lives. See you on the other side dear friend.

Since I met Bubba, I have found it impossible to think about him (and Kathy) without a huge smile appearing on my face! Bubba had the biggest heart and was constantly complimenting and encouraging others. He shared his love of pets and animals with many of us, had a lively sense of humor and loved to laugh! Bubba was a man of God and loved his beautiful wife, Kathy, fiercely. He was a proud family man with a huge love of life and lived each day to the fullest. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him and has left some huge boots to fill. Please keep Kathy and the rest of Bubba’s family in your thoughts and prayers. RIP, brother Bubba! No doubt you were welcomed to heaven with open arms, good and faithful servant!
