A year later, just found out about Michael’s
passing. Went to school with him. He didn’t live far from my childhood home. Had many good conversations with him. It’s always sad to learn of someone I knew passing. I know it’s late, but my prayers are with the family. Grief stays with us always.

I will never forget my dear friend. Anna Beth I loved his stories but I loved to hear him talk about you and the adventures y’all shared. He made my day when he came in the clinic to give me heck about”LSU”. He will never be forgotten and he holds a smile on my face and a blessing in my heart always, that I could call him friend. Praying for u AnnaBeth and all family.

    Charity Dougharty says:

Michael was like a dad to me. I met him through my job and became fast, close friends. I confided in him and loved him. He took me under his wing and helped me any time he could. He would never allow me to tell him no. He never went without telling me how proud he was of me for being such a hard worker and a great mom. He always told me he loved me and always gave me a kiss. He was there for me when my own daddy passed away. I will never forget the kindness he showed, not only to me and my children, but to every single person he came across. I will miss him and think of him every single day. Michael, thank you for seeing the best in me and always being so kind. I love you and will live a life you would be proud of. I will miss you terribly. Love always, Charity

We met Michael while he and Anna Beth were dating. We both liked him from the beginning. Within 10 minutes you felt as if you had been his friend your entire life. He kept us in stitches with the stories he told. He was a true friend and we loved him. He will truly be missed.
