Gary Quinn Petty, Sr.

Gary Quinn Petty, Sr., 66, of Buna, died Saturday, May 21, 2022.  He was born on August 21, 1955, in Pasadena, to Vara Sanders Petty and Robert Quinn Petty.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Petty; children, Travis M. Eaves, Jr. and his wife, Felicia, of Gist; Barbara Eaves Woodard of Spokane, Washington; Dr. Holly Petty Castile of Bell City, Louisiana; Gary “Chip” Petty, Jr. of Spokane, Washington; Justice Petty and Joedanny Petty, both of Buna; and Amanda Behling and her husband, Ron, of Silsbee; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mother, Alice Sanders Petty of Kirbyville; and siblings, Alice Petty Stanley of Buna; Robert Petty and his wife, Margaret, of Madison, Alabama; Gayle Petty Moak of Bossier City, Louisiana; and Kirk Dudley Petty and his wife, Paula, of Buna.  He is preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Petty’s memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Genesis Baptist Church, 9316 FM 1004, Buna.  His committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
