Genell Green Chambers

Genell Green Chambers, 71, of Beaumont, died Thursday, November 5, 2020. She was born on July 21, 1949, to Mary Magnolia Bone Green and Lynn Green, in Crockett, Texas. Genell was a registered nurse for over fifty years.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Nelson of Lufkin; son, Clint Smith of Bossier City, Louisiana; daughter-in-law, Jodi Chambers of Beaumont; sisters, Linda Evans and Bertha Cisneros, both of Beaumont; brother, Jerry Green of Huntington; sisters, Marjorie White, Wanda Renfro, and Susan L.; grandchildren, Abigail Lenig and her husband, Tim, Andrew Foster, Travis Ray Smith, Austin Chambers, and Jared Chambers; and many nieces, nephews, and extended friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Sonny Chambers.

A gathering of Mrs. Chambers’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, November 8, 2020, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 9, 2020, at Broussard’s. Her cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
