Geneva “Marie” Reagan

Geneva “Marie” Phelps Reagan, 90, of Bradford, Arkansas, passed from this life to the next on Thursday, January 6, 2022. She was born February 4, 1931, in Hamshire, Texas, to the late Agnes Marie Grammier Phelps and Byron Dug Phelps.

Marie loved flowers, especially pink antique roses, and she enjoyed selling antique glass at her shop. She loved her rosebush and when she moved from Texas, she brought it with her. The rosebush had been in her family for more than two hundred years.

Marie and her husband Dolphe Lee “Hacksaw” Reagan were wed for forty-nine years and resided in Winnie, Texas.

Survivors include her son, Dolphe Gene Reagan and wife, Tina, of Bradford, Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Sandra Reagan, of Stowell, Texas; nine grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Agnes Marie and Byron Dug Phelps; husband of forty-nine years, Dolphe Lee “Hacksaw” Reagan; and son, Michael Wayne Reagan.

A graveside service for Mrs. Reagan will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie, under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.
