Georgia Ann Bayard-Villarreal
Georgia Ann Bayard-Villarreal, 74, of Nederland, died Saturday, December 5, 2020. She was born on October 8, 1946, in Beaumont, to Lillian Elizabeth Baker Shear and Allen Ambrose Shear.
Georgia will always be remembered for her unconditional love of others, boundless generosity, the amazing meals she prepared for family and friends, the all-night phone conversations and marathon shopping trips. She was also a talented artist, had an amazing imagination and was a big fan of QVC.
Most importantly, she was a devoted wife and mother to her husband and children and a cherished “Mam” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Georgia and her husband loved and took care of her mother in their home for many years, she always looked up to her big sisters, Betty and Leila, and doted on her nieces and nephews. She loved her family with her whole heart and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband, Manuel Villarreal; children, Mary Beth Pinner and her husband, Ray; Jolei Shipley and her husband, Terry; and Brian “BJ” Bayard and his wife, Kristin, all of Nederland; grandchildren, Leslei Romero and her husband, Trey; Jason Pinner and his wife, Stacy; Candace Alese Schaub and her husband, Conrad; Lilei Shipley; and Evei Shipley; great-grandchildren, Coy Adams; Clara Romero; Evyn Romero; Audrey Schaub; and Ava Schaub; sister, Leila Christoffel and her husband, Joe, of The Woodlands; fur baby, Max; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Armstrong; brother, Allen Shear; and son, Eric Bayard.
A family committal will be held under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
