I met Glenda at Calderwoods. How she loved the Lord & looked forward to receiving communion. She also enjoyed showing me pictures of her family. I will always remember her beautiful smile & enthusiasm for whatever the day would bring. Praying for my friend Arlene & family. Rest In Peace, sweet Angel.

Glenda was a very special friend, for a very long time. We bonded by cooking together, and trading many recipes (both good and bad!). Bubba and Glenda loved to trade plants and bulbs. I will miss our Sunday coffee times, that often turned into many enjoyable evenings, that were full of laughter. The treasured memories that she leaves behind are endless. I, and the rest of the family, with miss her dearly. May she rest in peace.

Glenda, I will miss all the talks we have had over our life span and I wanted you to know that you were my angel then and now my angel in heaven to bring me home when it’s my time. I know that your life was hard on this earth because of polio, but you fought for normalcy every day with your never ending strength to be as independent as possible . You have always been an inspiration to all who met you and became for it after they did. I know that your dream was to be a mother and as that goes you were the best you could be! Your finally back home with the love of your life Ronnie and I know that makes him happy as well. We are all at peace with your passing but the heartbreak will be with us for a long time. I love you angel

    Arlene & Emery Degeyter says:

Glenda, just reflecting way back in years when I was just a kid—from sewing my dolls clothes, so I could dress them stylishly to perming my hair, helping me choose clothes to wear, to those sweet talks at night when we shared a double bed, etc. We continued those sweet talks & I have tucked it in my heart forever. You were like a second Mother to me, my-on earth-angel. Your enthusiasm was above and beyond to fight & be the best that you could be, overlooking the polio that strickened you in younger years. You are my strongest inspiration as being my sister. You’ve also, accomplished this to the max with being the best daughter, sister, friend, wife, Mother, Mother/in-law, sister-in-law, Aunt, Granny G, & Great Granny G to all your beautiful grand babies. I’m so grateful that God gave you 78 years to accomplish this beautiful blessing. God was ready for you, & Iam at peace with it, and you will always have the most beautiful memories in my heart forever. Now you are finally with the loves of your life-Ronnie and Mother and Dad and so very happy and at peace. I love you, my Sisterbelle, until we meet again❤️????❤️
