Glenn Edward McGilberry

Glenn Edward McGilberry, 64, of Nederland, died Tuesday, September 27,2022. He was born on October 8, 1957, in San Augustine, to Dorris Williams McGilberry and Lawrence Edward McGilberry, and grew up in Broaddus.

Glenn was a Christian man who had a very strong faith.  He worked many years as a purchasing office manager for various construction companies and was a Hardin County Sheriff Deputy.  He enjoyed fishing and will be remembered for his love of his family and vacations and adventures with them.  He will forever remain a loving husband and father.

Survivors include his wife of thirty years, Donna Louise Feick McGilberry; children, Ashley Nicole Kight and her husband, James Blake, of Crosby, and Christopher Glenn McGilberry of Beaumont; grandbaby on the way, Amelia May Kight; nephews, Kevin Albritton and his wife, Dora and John Albritton and his wife, Amie, all of Nacogdoches; sisters-in-law, Karen Lopez and her husband, Joseph and Catherine Hutcheson, all of Caldwell; mother and father-in-law, Carol and Kenneth Feick of Bryan; Goddaughters, Brooke Whitmire and Shannon Smallwood, both of Kountze; and many nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.  He is preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Marian Feick; and sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Bob Longino.

A gathering of Glenn’s family and friends will begin at 3:00 p.m., with his memorial service at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 2, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  His committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
