Gloria “Lala” Varela Segura
Gloria “Lala” Varela Segura, 69, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, August 31, 2022. She was born on October 21, 1952, in Beaumont, to Augustina Alvair and Jesse Varela, Sr.
Survivors include her daughter, Melinda Segeada and her husband, Emanuel, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Denise Segura, Daniel Segura III, Lissette Segeada, Reyna Segeada, Emiliana Segeada; great-grandchildren, Teagan and D.J.; siblings, Francisca Maleno; Jesse Varela, Jr. and his wife, Maria; and Raymond Varela and his wife, Ofelia; sister-in-law, Jean Segura; and brother-in-law, Johnny Segura.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Daniel Segura, Sr.; son, Daniel Segura, Jr.; and sister, Mary Olivia Ramirez.
A Rosary for Mrs. Segura will be recited at 2:00 p.m., with a gathering of her family and friends to follow until 5:00 p.m., Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
