Gloria Mae Tomplait
Gloria Mae Tomplait, age 94, of Groves, Texas, passed peacefully from this life, surrounded by her sons, on July 6, 2022. She was born June 4, 1928, in Port Arthur, Texas. Gloria was a member of Parkway Life Church of Lumberton, Texas and First United Methodist Church of Groves, Texas.
She is survived by her half-brother, Kenneth Wolf, of Austin, Texas; four sons, Douglas Tomplait and his wife, Judy, of Lumberton, Texas; Doye Tomplait and his wife, Nancy, of Groves, Texas; Dallon Tomplait and his wife, Michelle, of Groves, Texas; and Drek Tomplait and his wife, Amanda, of Buffalo, Texas; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-nine years, Jack D. Tomplait, and her parents, Minnie Meyer and Herman Wolf.
The family would like to extend a special thanks for the excellent care of our mother to Dr. John Badlissi and Oak Grove Nursing Home.

A gathering of Mrs. Tomplait’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with her funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 11, 2022, at Broussard’s, 505 N. 12th Street, Nederland. Her interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy and prayers for your entire family.
I am so sorry for your loss. I know I didn’t help take care of her long but the time I did have with her was special to me. She reminded me of my mawmaw who passed years ago. Every morning she thought I was an angel to come and visit with her. Now she can be my angel to help watch over my shoulder. Rest In Peace.

So sorry for your loss. Mr. Wolf was my neighbor for many years in Silsbee and I had several occasions to meet Gloria. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
