Dear Miller family … you all had such an impact on me as I watched your family … I would visit your hall as a child when we would visit my Aunt Evelyn … and I would think to myself what a spiritual family and how wonderful it must be to have both your parents in the truth … your Mom was always kind and would talk to everyone even children … her faith when Danny died really impressed me I’ve never forgot him or her , he was truly a fine young person and she set such a good example on how to lean on Jehovah with all her heart . Joe sent me the link to her memorial and I wouldn’t take anything for getting to see all the pictures and hear about her spiritual legacy… y’all were truly blessed to have had such beautiful spiritual parents . I love you all and look forward to getting to know each one of you and help welcome both your parents back ! Kurt and DeeDee Revia says:

I am so sorry you have to experience this.

Growing up in her Kingdom Hall she was a bright light that drew me all the time, always had time to discuss something from the Meetings or that I had read in the Bible. Her experiences were fascinating and the way she told them made me feel I was there too. My favorite is her experience of going to jail for preaching. I asked weren’t you scared? She replied with No we were there singing and we knew Jehovah was with us.

She was always positive and so sweet and you felt refreshed after visiting with her.

A bright light has gone out but not for long, not for long.

    Love you guys,
    Kurt & DeeDee Revia

Grace was my grandma’s (Sister Jean Shivers) best friend. I grew up going to visit her at the furniture store. I looked forward to seeing her when I attended services at the Kingdom Hall with my grandma. She was like another grandmother to me. She’ll be greatly missed!

Thank you Lauren for your warm and kind expressions. I recall when our family first met your Grandmother Jean Shivers. Gracie Miller—a dear friend to every age group who knew her!! She was also a close friend of Jehovah and consulted Jehovah throughout her life. She was a bestie friend to my mother, Peggy Bayley. Both gals popular before death and just as popular at the Resurrection! These gals will be back and we wake up everyday with that hope. So thankful we know what Jehovah has planned for us.
