Hattie “Janie” Jones

Hattie “Janie” Jones, 80, of Kountze, died September 2, 2021.  She was born on August 20, 1941, in Cleveland, to Donna Green Williford and Levi Williford.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Jones; children, David Jones and his wife, Lanette, of Livingston and Carla Reichert and her husband, Steve, of Silsbee; grandchildren, Matthew Jones and his wife, Kara, of Fort Worth; Joshua Reichert and his wife, Samantha, of The Woodlands; Jeremy Reichert of Kountze; Sollie Jones of Little Rock, Arkansas; and Joseph Reichert and Jonathan Reichert, both of Silsbee; and great-grandchildren, Silas, Abram, Levi, Will, and Ethan.  She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Donna Sue Cowart.

A gathering of Mrs. Jones’ family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 9, 2021, at First Baptist Church, 100 West Monroe Street, Kountze, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 10, 2021, at the church, with her interment to follow at Village Mills Cemetery, Village Mills.
