Helen Mae Bishoff

Helen Mae Bishoff, 81, of Hamshire, died Sunday, January 5, 2025. She was born on February 20, 1943, in Morse, Louisiana, to Clovenia LeBlanc and Eugenia Clement.

Helen enjoyed cross stitch, crochet, crossword puzzles, camping, and riding four-wheelers. She also loved cooking, spending time with her family, and reading Danielle Steel.

Survivors include her daughter, Jo Lynn Holland and her husband, Nathan, of Jasper; step-daughter, Kimberly Bishoff of New Jersey; son, Edward Hebert of Nederland; stepdaughter, Barbara Dawn Bishoff of New Jersey; daughter, Dessie Stratton and her husband, Chase, of Nome; grandchildren, Chucky and David Meyers; Jaclyn Myers; Amanda Ball; Lisa Hebert; Tabitha Mazzarella; Hallie Dunlap; Falon Mitchell; Brayden McCullough; Weston McCullough; Aspen Stratton; and Chisum Stratton; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Eduardo, Olivia, Rayleigh Mae, Rhett, Kimberly Ball, William Ball, Samantha Guidry, Rylee Scott, and Kacie Scott; sisters, Beulah Thibodeaux and Lovenia Racca; and brother, Gabriel Clement.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernon Bishoff; one sister; three brothers; one granddaughter, Candance; one nephew; and one great-grandson, Jack.

Cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.

    My heart is broken that Helen passed. I have not talked to her in several years due to life, but Helen was the mother I always wished that I had. She would love you regardless of what you said or did and at the same time would tell you when you screwed up in no uncertain terms!
