Helen Marie Hanley

Helen Marie Hanley, 83, of Fannett, died Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Christus Southeast Texas – St. Elizabeth. She was born February 3, 1941, in Nacogdoches, to Frances Lee Johnson Porter and Jewel Elgin Porter.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Clift and husband, Mark; son, Shaun Hanley and companion, Dewanda Carter; grandchildren, Erica, Angie, Bryan, Jackie, and Michael; seven great-grandchildren; and brother, Max Porter and wife, Judy.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Hanley; parents; son, Chad Hanley; sister, Mary Hooks; and brother, Leon Porter.

A gathering of Mrs. Hanley’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 22, 2024, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
