Henry William “Bill” Rohwedder

H.W. “Bill” Rohwedder, of Silsbee, Texas, formally of Buna, Fannett, and Nederland, Texas, passed away on August 16, 2025.

Bill was born October 22, 1935, in Beaumont, Texas, to Pastor John Henry and Edna Lee Huckabay Rohwedder. He and his wife, Susan Ann Robinson Rohwedder, were married 46 years. He attended First Baptist Church, in Buna, Texas. Bill loved music of any kind but especially Gospel, and God blessed him with a beautiful voice to sing his praise. He loved the country life on his acreage in Buna. He was also an avid CB’er in his younger days. He retired from Mobil Oil Main Plant in 1993, where he was an Instrument Supervisor and graduated from French High School, Beaumont.

A gathering of Mr. Rohwedder’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
