Hunter Reece Smith

September 8, 2003 - November 2, 2025

Hunter Reece Smith was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on Sunday, November 2, 2025. Hunter was born in Beaumont, Texas on September 8, 2003, to Dana Walding Tucker and Andrew Smith. Hunter was a resident of Brenham, Texas and a 2022 graduate of Brenham High School. He worked at Triple C Sheet Metal in Brenham where he was a willing and trusted employee that carried out his duties in a professional and conscientious manner. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, boating, target practice and shooting clays. He also loved spending time with his family and friends at the family farm, ranch and any outdoor space. Hunter was well loved as a member of the Cowboy Church of Brenham where he not only attended but was also baptized. He was a smart, kind, funny, and deeply loving young man.  He loved his family with a depth that few possess. In many ways he was wiser than his years. He was quick to smile and ended conversations with his family with “I love you”. Hunter was a true believer and had an authentic and faithful relationship with the Lord. He read his bible daily and was striving to develop a deeper connection with God. He has inspired others to grow in faith not only by his words but also by his actions. Hunter will be so very missed by all who knew and loved him and yet we take comfort in the knowledge that he is in the loving arms of Jesus, now and forever and that we will be reunited with him in time.  We love you Hunter.
