Ida Mae Wiegman

Ida Mae Wiegman, 82, of Port Neches, died Sunday, March 29, 2026. She was born to Minnie Lee Sturrock Haynes and Joseph Cullen Haynes on March 26, 1944, in Carthage, Texas.

Survivors include daughter, Tammy Gallier and her husband, Paul, of Port Neches; grandchildren Shelly Gallier, Shane Gallier, Eric Gallier; great-grandchildren, Jonathen, Payton, Holley, Max, Allison, Anna Lee, Boyd, Delilah; numerous nieces and nephews; sister, Sandy Lewelling; and her loving fur baby, Sophie.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Melba Neely, Mildred Havard, Arnell Haynes; and brothers, Bobby Haynes, Jerry Lynn Haynes, J.R. Haynes, J.T. Haynes, and Lamar Haynes.

Ms. Wiegman loved being a member at her church and reading. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements for Ms. Wiegman were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12^th Street, Nederland.
