Dear Family, I know that there are no words that can be said to comfort you in your time of loss. But I do want to give my condolences. I was just informed about Ms Iris passing.
Iris was my dear friend. She and I volunteered at Sunshine Resale Shop.
She has a very special place in my heart.
Even though she is gone she is still loved very much and her memory will be with me always.
Lesley and Jeff, I just learned of your mom’s passing and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. She was one of the dearest people. She was our school nurse at Evadale when I was in school. You have my deepest sympathy and condolences.
We were so sad to hear of the passing of sweet Iris. We met her in our seminar for MASA a couple months back. She was the sweetest lady and knew everybody in our group. I am so sorry for your loss I know she will be in heaven and we will see her again. I’m sorry to hear this Jeff we will be praying for your family. God bless. Barry
Always loved running into you and talking and getting the the best hugs. Fly high Mrs Iris.
My sweet, sweet,Iris What a beautiful soul. Forever in our hearts. I will miss you so much. Gone from us way too soon.
I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Ms. Iris at First Presbyterian Church in Silsbee when she came to help us serve lunch every Friday in our Soup Kitchen. How I loved her and her stories. Since I was from Port Arthur as well, we would reminisce of the Port Arthur of old. She was a treasure and always said she was our token Methodist! Fly high Ms. Iris and save us a place!
Iris was a delightful, interesting, thoughtful and caring lady. Met her at the local ALS meetings in 2018-2019. Always smiling, always sharing words of support and delicious treats. She won our hearts. My husband looked forward to the meetings because of her presence, and Paulette from the ALS Houston office and Paula whose husband, as was Iris’ Gene and my James, ALS patients. She was also the nurse, we found out years later, who cared for James when he was burned in a refinery fire the day before Armstrong walked on the moon. She assisted Dr. Washburn. Rest in peace Mrs. Iris. Prayers of peace and comfort to her family.
Such a Sweet and Beautiful lady. Always so friendly and had a story to tell and some stories she would say don’t tell Jeff cause she didn’t want him to worry about her. We will miss seeing her at Ronnie’s Garage. Peace and comfort to the family.
Ms. Robertson was our nurse in Evadale ISD years ago. She was the sweetest and kindest lady. I would also see her at Silsbee High football games working the concession stand for the band. She was always busy but had time to visit with me. Ms Robertson will be missed.
Condolences Jeff and Lesley. Best aunt ever.
Raborn cousins.
