Isidro Guerrero

Isidro Guerrero, 90, of Beaumont, died Sunday, February 16, 2020, at Liberty Health Care Center, Liberty. He was born on September 7, 1929, in Port Arthur, and was a United States Marine Corps veteran having served in the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Rita Guerrero; sons, Henry Cerda of Knoxville, Arkansas, Gerald Cerda of Lakeview, and Raymond Cerda of Vidor; daughter, Angel Guerrero of Beaumont; foster daughter, Kim Marks of Beaumont; sixteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Gutierrez; and sisters, Margaret Ramirez and Libby Ramirez, both of Nederland.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Paul Guerrero; stepdaughter, Edna Cerda; and stepson, Anthony Cerda.

A Rosary for Mr. Guerrero will be recited at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, February 23, 2020, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 24, 2020, at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 767 Avenue A, Beaumont. His interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
