James Arthur Cravey

James Arthur Cravey, 81, of Buna, died Monday, July 11, 2023.  He was born on March 31, 1942, in Fred, to Rannie Cunningham Cravey and Morad Cravey.

Survivors include his children, Christiana Alisha Cravey Beatty of Woodville; James Allen Cravey of Nebraska; Marsha Denise Cravey of Dam B; Jimmie Eileen Keeton Hyatt and her husband, Michael, of Moss Bluff, Louisiana; and Michael Keeton and his wife, Dianna, of South Haven, Mississippi; nineteen grandchildren; fifty-one great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Bertie May Houck of Brownwood. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Angie Cravey; daughter, Cynthia Marie Costillow; and brothers, Ed Cravey, Jr. and John L. Carvey.

A gathering of Arthur’s family and friends will begin at 3:00 p.m., with his service at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  His interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery, Buna.
