So very sorry Mrs.Hall my husband and I just found out today about Gray my Ron Jackson only when about ever three months so we did not know but my husband talked about Gray all the time and Gray was so good to my husband he would sometimes walk him out to the car because my husband was a little handicap. Again we are so sorry our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!🙏🏻
I just read the sad news. My sincere condolence to Darlene and family. The first time I saw Gary he was cutting hair at Mott’s with 1 arm in a cast from a rodeo injury. He always perked up during my haircuts when I got him talking about rodeo, vacations to Arizona, his son, and especially his grand daughter. Gary was my barber, but I also consider him a friend. He is missed.
Gary was always be remembered by our family as the man that took care of Daddy’s “beautiful head of white hair.”
Thank you to Gary and Darlene!
So sorry Darlene, just saw notice. god bless!
Gary was a true barber professional. He worked on my hair for 21 years. If you wanted your hair cut you better have an appointment or he wouldn’t do it out of respect for his other client’s time. I learned that the hard way but respected it. I always told him after a cut “I know I don’t give you much to work with but, I appreciate the effort to try to make me beautiful.” He would always give that little grin of his. All the stories about bronc riding and family ventures. Gary truly made the world a more beautiful place figuratively and literally.
Gary has cut my hair for 28 years, and I always loved my visits with him and Darlene every time I went. I will always miss him and cherish those visits.
I’m sorry to hear about Gary. He was my barber for many years. I enjoyed the stories of his life as a Cowboy that he shared and loved so much. The many trips, events, places (especially Tombstone), horses and injuries that came along with it. He was a kind and gentle soul and will be genuinely missed by all that knew him.
So sorry Darlene to hear of Gary’s passing. So enjoyed the conversations with Gary while he cut my hair. He was truly a fine gentleman and will be missed by many.
Gary cut my hair since before high school for over 30 years. I will miss the stories he would tell me about his rodeo days and playing baseball against my dad. A routine in my life will forever be missed. Such a kind soul.
I am so sorry, Darlene, God bless you. Gary was one of a kind ! He was a tough old cowboy, but a gentle soul. I always enjoyed listening to his stories even when he worked for Mott’s some 45 years ago! .

he was my barber for 40 years
Gary was a maestro with a pair of barber’s scissors!
I often told Gary and Darlene I needed to take any publicity photos immediately after rising from his chair! I viewed his work on me as “art”!
I am so sorry to hear of Gary’s passing, I spent many years in his barber chair, when I had hair to cut then after most of the hair was gone, I really enjoyed my time with he and Darlene, They are wonderful people and will be sorely missed,
God bless you and keep you.
My condolences to Darlene and Jay. I’m so sorry for your loss. Gary was my cousin and was always kind and sweet to us younger kids.
Darlene – I am so sorry for your loss. Gary will be remembered fondly by all who have said “he was my barber for ___ years” . Always a smile, and a few tales from his days on the rodeo trail . Gary didn’t watch the time – he was gonna touch every hair on your head before he set down the scissors!
Blessings for all of Gary’s family members.
I’m sadden to know of Gary’s passing although the Lord wanted a great cowboy in his place and will be sorely missed here on Earth. RIP Gary!

I am very sorry for the loss of Gary. He was always very sweet and a kind cousin to me.
You have our deepest sympathy. We have not been together in many years, but as youngsters we were cousins, valued and loved.
Gary was one of the best, most gentle barbers in Beaumont….he also had another part of his life that included riding wild horses & bulls….Gary was a Real Cowboy……..
Our thoughts & Prayers go out to Darlene and the family……
May Gary rest in Peace in Gods House.
I am absolutely devastated to hear of Gary’s passing. Gary cut my hair for 35+ years. He was a Barber but more than that he was a friend and a confidant. He was a true Cowboy
He always asked about our Ranch and offered advice on new things to try. Gary and Darlene always made everyone feel special and welcome.
Lord I pray you grant the Hall family comfort during thier time of sorrow. Wrap them in your grace and assure them this separation is only for a short while. I pray this in Jesus’s name…..
Amen and Amen.
So very sorry for your loss.

Gary Hall was much more than my barber for more than 40 years. He was a true friend. His marriage to Darlene, a sweet lady who worked by his side, was a shining example of what a marriage should be. Gary was a barber and friend to many of the most prominent lawyers, government officials, doctors, and businessmen in Beaumont. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
A very good man. Rest in Peace Gary
Enjoyed the many years sense the early 70’s going to the shop getting hair cut, talking rodeo, looking at the pictures.. Gary will be missed.
Gary was such a hard worker and loved his customers. Gary was a master at the skill of being a barber. He was a gentle soul and I called him “The animal whisperer” because he was so gentle, sensitive, and intuitive with horses and dogs and all animals. He had a good spirit and soul and treated people with respect. I will miss him.
Gilbert was raised one house down from Darlene. I was at their wedding 39 years ago. I met Gary at that time. He was quite a guy and Darlene loved him with all her heart and then some. They were the hardest working people I’ve ever seen. They have both had health issues and they just keep going. Gary will be sorely missed by so many people, but most of all Darlene. Prayers and thoughts to Darlene and all the grieving family and friends. RIP Gary. You really deserve it.
Carol and Gilbert Andrus
Gary and Darlene were always so kind to me. I enjoyed Gary’s stories about southern Arizona.
It was a pleasure to visit him.
Gary l will miss the relaxing times in the shop with you and Darlene. The world has lost a kind and gentle heart and a great lover of animals.l will see you again on the other side, my friend! Jim
Like many fellows around Beaumont, Gary was my barber for many, many years. Always kind and cheerful. He will be missed.
Gary was one of the Best Barbers in Beaumont for many years, he had great stories of his Bronco times , riding Wild Horses , trying to see if he could beat the Wild animal under him…..
You will be missed my friend , rest in Peace in Gods House, maybe you can do some Bronco riding in Heaven…..
God Bless Darlene and your family….
Now we’ve got to find a Barber to replace you, not sure there is one!!
God Be With you Gary…….
Ronnie Moses….
Gary cut my son’s hair when he was a young boy (he is 43 now). My memories of Gary are that of him being a kind and gentle human. RIP our world needs more like you.
Cousin Gary will surly be missed. Some of my oldest memories of him, is of me sitting in his barber chair getting my hair cut, up until I went to college. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
