JAMES “JIM” DAVID TERRY

James “Jim” David Terry, 74, of Evadale, died Wednesday, August 14, 2024.  He was born on August 7, 1950, in Port Arthur, to Lola Irene Swift Terry and James Louis Terry.

Survivors include his wife, Lyn Terry; children, Joshua Terry and his wife, Brittany, of Dallas; Jordan Terry and his wife, Hayley, of Webster; David Terry and Rebecca, of Colorado, and Danny Terry of Arizona; grandchildren, Kinsley Terry and Elliott Terry; sister, Helen Pady of Orange; sister in-law, Maryann Terry of Woodville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Omar Terry and his wife, Jean; Carl Terry, Johnny Terry, and Ann Bartlett; mother and father in-law, Joyce and Jack Harris; and brother in-law, David Harris.

A gathering of Jim’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 16, 2024, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  His funeral service will be at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Broussard’s.  His committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
