James “Jimmy” Adams

August 5, 1955 - January 25, 2020

James “Jimmy” Francis Adams, 64, of Beaumont, died Saturday, January 25, 2020. He was born on August 5, 1955, in Beaumont, to Mary Altgelt Adams and Frank McDowell Adams. 

Survivors include his wife, Debra Adams, of Fannett; daughters, Lyndsey Sciple and her husband, Eric; Claire Adams; and Shannon Adams; son, Andrew Adams; brother, Frank A. Adams; grandchildren, Emerald and Ruby Sciple; and Aiden and Julia Hansard. 

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Frederick and Charles Adams.

A gathering of Mr. Adams’ family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 31, 2020, in the parlor of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 1350 North 23rd Street, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 1, 2020, at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
