James “Mikie” Plake

May 9, 1947 - August 16, 2021

James “Mikie” Plake, 74, of Kountze, died Monday, August 16, 2021.  He was born on May 9, 1947, in Beaumont, to Doris Plake Olsen and Michael Aubrey Plake.

Survivors include his son, Sam Plake and his wife, Lindsay, of Nolensville, Tennessee; siblings, Pat Plake and his wife, Connie, of Lumberton and Debbie Sims of Waco; grandson, Treshon Highsmith; and granddaughters, Reece Plake and Ryann Plake.  He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Judy Prince Plake; and brother, Terry Plake. He was loved my many relatives and friends.

Mr. Plake’s committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
