James "Rusty" Wagner
James “Rusty” Wagner, 64, of Nederland, died Sunday, November 1, 2020, at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont. He was born July 23, 1956, in Tacoma, Washington, to Loma Lee Rodgers Wagner and Billy Warner Wagner.
Rusty loved to travel and often times would just get out and take a drive. He was also an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting, as well as, playing cards. Rusty retired from the Texas Department of Transportation in 2014.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Wagner; brother, Richard Wagner and wife, Tomilyn, all of Nederland; sister, Wende Latino and husband, Todd, of Lumberton; nieces and nephews, Brandi Bernard; Jesseca Hardy; Jesse Wagner; Jennifer Latiolais; Bobby Dean III; and Joshua Dean; brother-in-law, Bobby Dean, Jr. and wife Donna; father-in-law, Bobby Dean, Sr.; and his precious fur babies, Booger, Abigail, and Breezy Lee (gone but never forgotten).
He is preceded in death by his parents, Loma and Billy Wagner; and mother-in-law, Patty Dean.
A gathering of Mr. Wagner’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with his memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
