James Scott Buchok

James “Scott” Buchok, 57, of Fred, died Saturday, January 6, 2024.  He was born on February 8, 1966, in Fort Knox, Kentucky, to Lazeail Cotton Buchok and Stephen Joseph Buchok.

Survivors include his wife, Melinda Kimbrough Buchok and her son, Jacob Hooks and his wife, Melissa, and their two children, all of Fred; siblings, Rick Buchok and his wife, Sharon of Lumberton; nieces and nephews, Michael Ftacek and his wife, Stacy, of San Antonio; Charles Ftacek of Nashville; Andrew Buchok and his wife, Callie, of Lubbock; Aaron Buchok and his wife, Katie, of St. Louis; Michelle Gary and her husband, Drozen, of Fred; and Sean Wallet and his wife, Connie, of Silsbee; sisters-in-law, Joy Buchok of Lubbock; Anita Wallet and her husband, David, of Fred; Barbara Dott of College Station; and Kellam Kimbrough and his wife, Mary, of Corpus Christi.  He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Stephen Buchock; and sister, Liz Ramirez.

Scott’s committal arrangements were held at Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
